Be is designed around one principle: your words are yours alone.

what we collect

nothing. Be does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. all entries you write — your morning declarations and evening reflections — are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

analytics & tracking

the Be app contains no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs, and no advertising. we do not track how you use the app, when you open it, or what you write.

this website (be-daily.web.app) uses Firebase Analytics for aggregate traffic only. it cannot access your journal entries.

you can manage cookie preferences anytime via your browser settings.

speech recognition

Be offers optional voice dictation using Apple's on-device speech recognition. your audio is processed locally and is never sent to any server.

notifications

if you allow reminders, Be schedules local notifications on your device. these are not push notifications — no data is sent to or from any server.

data deletion

you can delete all your data at any time from Settings → start over. deleting the app removes all data permanently.
